Do you teach adults?
We have many adult students, with a variety of experience and ability levels ranging from beginnings, to students who want to improve technique, up to working musicians. We are prepared to work with students of all ages.
How long does it take to learn an instrument?
There is no set answer to this question. With regular practice, a basic level of playing can be accomplished in a few months. Most of our students take lessons on a long-term basis, because they find lessons enjoyable and want to continue improving.
What if I don’t own a piano or an instrument?
It is possible to start piano lessons on a keyboard. We recommend Yamaha Digital Pianos that have regular 88 sized keys and a touch sensitive response. Having a damper pedal is also important. Until you are ready to buy an instrument, we have a limited number of new and used instruments for rent or purchase as well. We can also provide you with the information for several rental companies as well. We have a piano tuner we can recommend for piano repairs and tunings as well.
How much do lessons cost?
We have very competitive pricing, and prices vary based on location, whether in studio or in your home. Cost also varies based on lesson length. We offer 30 minute, 45minute, and 60 minute lessons.
How do I know if I or my child will like lessons?
Come try us out! We are committed to helping each student reach his or her goals, and are pleased to offer a free meeting prior to lessons commencing. We also offer a 4-week trial package. We are passionate about music and are eager to share our love for music with you.
